HIGPA’s annual Pharmacy Forum (co-hosted by HISCI) took place last week in Phoenix, Arizona. The Forum was, as always, a place for the industry to meet to discuss trends and topics of importance while networking with colleagues.
This year’s Forum (themed “A Prescription for Change") was loaded with relevant content pertaining to healthcare reform and the supply chain, from ACOs to pharmacogenomics to the battle over specialty drugs. Panelists discussed the industry from multiple perspectives, as sessions were presented on the latest from Capitol Hill, Wall Street, and the HIGPA Pharmacy Committee.
